This collection of thirteen poems shared here and its namesake musical album rythms a celebration of life earned, tracing a journey of bereavement from the depths of despair, melancholia, an acknowledgment of individual insignificance, a reach for the universal through pain, the invisibility of vulnerability and the most vulnerable upon whom we trample yet depend upon, by establishing a connection to and paying a tribute to historical poems that have moved us over the years, with after poems on Willian Ernest Henley’s Invictus or Naomi Shihab Nye’s Kindness, with fragment of this or that here and there, to affirm existence through the experience of the tragic, speaking to current tragedies, and philosophically reflects to reach beyond, anchored on agapean foundations.
