Ya-G's

Behold the Ya-G's, a band birthed during Covid by scruffy neighborhood dads deprived of live music and deciding to make their own. In true rock fashion, they chewed up a succession of drummers before finding their beating heart in the person of one of their very own daughters. They’re multi-instrumentalists, but whatever they play, from accordion to slide guitar, it’s all about the song. Depending on where their fancy leads them, the set list might include Prince, VU, Waterboys, Beatles, XTC, Replacements, Talking Heads, Tarbox Ramblers, Kinks, and some originals too —all with jangly rhythms and hoarse harmonies that’ll make you want to sing and stomp along.
